Maxwell’s is a tearoom in the Scottish Borders, in the historic market town of Duns. We champion traditional British baking, from the homemade scones and jam, sourdough bread, cake and teabreads. We also do light lunches, and have a range of savouries and other British specialties that are perfect with a pot of tea.

Maxwell’s is on the historic market square in Duns, in the Scottish Borders. We serve light lunches, and have a great wine list to accompany our daily specials board. From the sourdough and ciabatta bread; to our soup and sandwiches, everything is made on the premises. Maxwell’s champions traditional baking, selling our homemade cakes, tea breads as well as our popular scones and homemade jam.

Maxwell’s is a tearoom in the picturesque market town of Duns, in the Scottish borders. Maxwell’s is a classic tearoom in the grand British tradition with a more classic feel, and less twee. Everything is made daily on the premises. We serve a variety of cakes, scones and teabreads, as well as light lunches. We also have a fantastic range of loose leaf tea.
